BMW NBT EVO repair regardless of the failure or fault
The most common NBT EVO symptoms:
- The NBT EVO head unit is stuck and the display shows the message: “loading”
- THE NBT EVO reboots continuously
- The NBT EVO displays only a blank screen
- The NBT EVO shows the BMW logo on the screen and appears to be stuck
- The NBT EVO starts, works properly for a few minutes, then reboots again. This cycle repeats endlessly.
- The NBT EVO iDrive fails to boot up
Shipping your NBT EVO head unit to us for repair
- Download, fill in and send us the the form from this link
- You only need to send in the NBT EVO head unit (not the display, nor the joystick / iDrive controller)
- Add plenty of cushioning (espcially around the plastic parts) and use a cardboard box
- Use the shipping details (company name, address & phone) from our contact page
- Return shipping is done through Romanian Post or DHL Express. Shipping rates to non-EU destinations for the NBT EVO iDrive
- Our non-EU customers use their national post or DHL Express.
- Please do not use DHL Express when sending your unit to us from outside the EU. They are extremely slow with the import procedures.
- Parcels coming from outside the European Union are subject to customs procedures, which last 2-4 business days.
- For parcels shipped with the national post, the customs will charge a VAT fee of 20% of the stated product, if this value is above 40 Eur. Hence we recommend our customers to declare a value of 40 EUR for a faulty NBT EVO iDrive. In case you choose to declare a higher value, the VAT fee will be added to the total cost.

My BMW E90 CCC unit had been broken for a good few years, No one was able to or knew how to fix it for me inNew Zealand.I found M.C.A online through some research contacted them and followed the instructions.The information on the site and communication with Alex was great, we had an 11 hour time zone difference but I was always replied back there next day.Once they received my unit it was fixed and ready to be returned within a couple of days!Arrived to me in under a week and went straight into the car, all my old NCS codings to increase the radio frequency range and show names of stations were still there so it was even better.Do not hesitate to send them your broken units for any brand.I would highly rate and use again if needed personally or for work customers vehicles!

**AMAZING & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**As a single woman I don't trust easily but the reviews allowed me to put faith in contacting Mura and Alex was absolutely brilliant throughout. After a few simple questions answered about the fault with my Audi MMI head unit came the reply "I can fix it please ship it" and away we went. All shipping instructions sent to me, easy to follow for shipping from outside the EU, took a while to get there (December) but Alex reassured me throughout that waiting game. Once received it was repaired in less than a week and back with me 2 days later. I'm so very, very happy to have music in my car life again. let alone the rest of the perks the head unit comes with. A tiny amount of money compared to quotes to get a new unit or even trust in a second hand one and comes with a 12 month warranty. Even tried to get a non Audi new system, Halfords took one look at mine and said "Not a chance" it would need to be a specialists job. I don't know where to start.I usually don't leave comments, reviews but this time I had to do it.My Mercedes W221 Harman kardon amplifier died , as this is a common problem with them and after a lot of research on forums I have found these guys that are based in Romania.I am Romanian as well but I reside in UK and after getting in contact with them and answered my questions , I decided to send it over following the instructions they have sent.After a while the most waited news came , that the amplifier has been repaired and it's ready to go back on the car.I have used express delivery and it o my took one working day to arrive from Romania to UK ( I know that's insane).It took almost 3 weeks with royal mail and their burocracy.Also another good thing is that you only pay when the job is done, not like other companies where you have to pay in advance plus comes with one year warranty.So if you guys want to keep your w221 in good working condition and with the original equipment on, do not hesitate to contact them.Thank you.

My BMW’s head unit was broken, it restarted all the time, alternating black screen and BMW logo. I looked for a workshop which could repair this and found several all over Europe. The Mura was the best offer so I decided to go through the pains of sending it to them. With no regrets, after 3 weeks (1 for sending, 1 for repair, 1 for return) I simply plugged it in and it worked. The other suppliers were happy to explain how complicated a repair might be, but Mura simply gave me a firm price even before seeing the unit. I highly recommend them.

In addition, they can program if you bought a used part or they will fix it too. My issue was relating to a BMW CCC unit. I read the reviews online and was pointed to MCA. After reading their webpage and reviews I made contact and completed the steps required (very easy). I even sent a Whats app to ensure I did everything correct and had a response nearly instantly. The team were very honest about time line as they were set for vacation. I live in Ireland and the turnaround from collection to being returned to me was 14 days. It is now 7 months since repair and my radio works perfectly. I would highly recommend MCA to anyone who is having issues (esp BMW units)

I turned to MCA after the CCC unit stopped working in my 2004 BMW 5 series. I sent the both the Bluetooth module, and the CCC module, and now they both work perfectly. Communication could be improved, but the service itself, and value for money more than makes up for it.

I got in touch with MCA after being turned down by several competitors ("your unit is the most complicated one, ...") and... thank God for that !My CiC was stuck in a boot loop. I sent them an email with a pic of the unit. Their answer was quick and clear ("we are able to fix it, no data will be erased, it will cost xxx €")I shipped my unit to them > they confirmed the reception > 3 days later they told me "unit is fixed, please proceed with payment" (paypal is possible !) > the next day, they shipped back my radio and sent me an email with the tracking number > package arrived in due time. Time to reinstall & test... it's alive again !I drove a few hundreds km before posting my comment : the CiC still works flawlessly.Thank you MCA !!

First, I really worried about sending the Media-Unit of my car overall across europe and maybe never see it back again. But MCA did a great job, replied on all my email inquiries promptly and the unit works fine so far! The only problem I have been facing was the shipping. Unfortunately the package got lost between germany and austria, what took another three weeks in my case. So consider to choose proper shipping service.MCA: Best quality for reasonable price including one year warranty!

My review is not really a reflection of Mura themselves. On the face of things they have appeared helpful. My review score is simply to highlight my experience. I used Parcelforce for the export to Romania and followed the Mura instructions. Nearly one month later and the parcel has not been received and I am advised it is held in a container by Romanian authorities. I lose three units sent for repair.... Think twice about sending overseas as despite the feedback you run the risk of loss. Use a reputable UK repair agent would be my advise it may cost more but it will be worth it based on my experience.... Live and learn...

Well I've had my BMW CIC unit back in the car for just over 6 months now and its worked faultlessly since it was repaired by Mura. Sending it from the UK was a little fraught as the unit appeared to be held up in Romanian customs for over a week. The return however was much easier as it arrived on my doorstep within 4 days. I found the Mura Car Accessories website while searching for answers as to why the CCC unit in my 2005 525i was malfunctioning. Not only did the website list exactly the type of malfunction, the layout of the website way extremely professional. I hesitated sending my CCC to Romania from the United States at first. Just perfect!My CCC unit had the "classic" issues such as freeze at BMW logo, works better when cold outside, reboot etc. So I started to google this and I found the guys at MCA.I shipped the CCC to them (instructions on website) and about a week later I received the CCC and now its works perfect!Shipment (from Sweden and back again) + repair (motherboard) + SW and AUX upgrades ~350 EUR in total which is much cheeper than go to BMW and get this fixed or buy a used one that have or maybe will get this issue later on anyway.The SW update is definitely worth it since the whole interface feels faster + the boot up.Can definitely recommend MCA if you have problem with your car electronics!

Sent my 2008 BMW 650i ccc unit and TCU as it was thought to be at fault to them from California. US-based USPS took way longer to get it there than they took to repair and return it to me from Romania! The TCU tested fine, and they did an amazing job on the ccc unit. Very happy I did choose the option to send my faulty E61 CCC unit to MCA. Very professionally handled and now works like a dream. Everything included with expedited shipping and optional coding of AUX around €330. Without expedited shipping and no extra coding you should be able to get it fixed for €270 or so. I sent it on a wednesday and recieved it back friday the following week. Price is hard to beat with used parts that you don´t know how long they will perform and requires coding to function.

MCA provided excellent electrical service for my BMW MULF 2 high basis module, repairing it for a very reasonable price. MCA also checked my PDC module, found it to be working, and did not charge for checking it. They suggested further testing that I will do to isolate the issue. The nav unit failed in my F31 BMW 2013 with a frozen screen and wouldn't load. I found MCA on the internet and at first was sceptical about sending it abroad but there was no one in the UK that could tell me what was wrong with it, so I bit the bullet and sent it to MCA. Collected from my house one afternoon and the following morning I got an email from them saying they had the unit! They then fixed it within a few days and the following week it was back with me. 15 minutes to refit it and it was working perfectly, no need for any coding, fantastic. And all at a very reasonable price, I'm very happy, 12 months warranty, what's not to like. If you are having trouble with your head unit don't hesitate to use MCA, brilliant service.

The options for BMW CCC repair in the UK were limited and all forums recommended MCA. I sent an email enquiry and within 5 mins I had a response reassuring thag this annoying reboot issue could be repaired. Just recenlty had a problem with the Radio cutting in and out on our BMW 645CI - worried that it would be an expensive £300 plus fix, I searched the internet and found MCA. From first contact, they really were excellent in helping diagnose what the problem was. I originally thought it was the CCC unit, which would have meant a big strip down of the center console in the dash. But after describing the faults and a few emails later, we were sure it was the MULF module that controls the Bluetooth and Mobile functions. I purchased an optical loop.bypass cable on ebay so we could remove the module and still use the other devices on the optical Bus. The fault was proven to this unit and MCA quoted a price. I sent the unit off by recorded delivery and MCA advised when it arrived. They then kept me informed of the repair progress and when ultimatley would be returned. I was also given a tracking number so I knew when the parcel would be back.All in all - a fantastic service at a very competitive price.I can only highly recommend MCA and all of the team there - yes, its a leap of faith sending your modules all that way, but the process is easy and providing you are a little patient with them, you will be rewarded with superb service. Needless to say, the MULF is back in our 645 and working perfectly, with 12-months warranty on the repair too. Perfect and thanks to MCA!👍😀

Highly recommend these guys. I was a bit dubious about sending my bmw pro logic amp from UK to Romania for repair but I had it back in a few weeks working like new also communication was good throughout and they gave a price band for the repair up front which was at least a third of the price at home if you can find anybody willing to do a repair.Thank you so much Vlad
