Judging by the symptoms you mention, it looks like you are dealing with a faulty sound amplifier or with a faulty CCC unit.
Both the sound amplifier and the CCC unit have submodules that handle sound processing. If the sound processing part has failed only for the speakers under the seat, the issue could lie on any of the two units. Without testing the two units, we can’t say which one is faulty. We can say that most often it is the sound amplifier that develops this kind of fault rather than the CCC iDrive navigation. But this is just a statistic, it does not mean that it happened in your case too.

Please have a look at our BMW CCC repair page and at our Logic 7 sound amplifier repair page.
You can send both units to us to investigate and give you a diagnosis. We don’t charge for diagnosing and testing the units, we only charge for the repair procedure for the faulty unit.

        I bought a 2007 525i on auction.vin wbane53557c0w66790.
It has a salvage title and i have no history on vehicle.
The main battery was completely dead. I do not know how long.
After installing new battery, I pushed the start button several times (without depressing brake pedal) and i might have had depressed the start button for about 10-seconds on one occasion.
After realizing I had to depress brake pedal, the car started immediately and continues to do so.

However the Idrive initially only displayed the Bmw logo and “Bootloader 7501” in the upper left hand corner. It is now completely blank.

Where do I send and approximate cost?

        Thank you!

    Hi Barry,

This issue is usually investigated methodically, by looking at each of the possible causes and testing whether that part is faulty or not. As you said, the problem could come from a fuse, from the board itself or from the wiring (if it was affected by water).

    Best of luck !

Hi I replaced my faulty unit with a used one off eBay. The problem is when I plugged the used unit in the screen on the display wouldn’t come on.. Is this because some kind of vin coding is needed or is it because the used unit is faulty? If that’s the case why would the screens display/power be dependent on the CCC drive? Thanks

      Hello Josh,

First of all, the new unit must be coded for the car by your VIN number, in order to have access to all the options that you have on the car. Regarding the display, you should check the cables from the CCC to the display. If those are ok,then your CCC unit is to blame here.

You can fill in your info on the CCC repairs webpage and one of my colleagues will reply to you and help you with your problem.

      Thanks,
      Alex

My CCC iDrive on my 07 e60 530d does not power on at all. I’ve checked the fuses and various modules in the boot and all seems ok. No water ingress. Any suggestions? Thinking it’s the circuit board related issue in the iDrive module

      Hi Dan,

If the fuses look fine and there is no water infiltration, then most likely the iDrive has stopped working. A dead iDrive is a common sysmptom. Most iDrive units start with a period of random resets (working when you start the car in the morning, stop working in the afternoon, happening every other day, just enough incidence for it to be annoying), they progress with a period on continuous reset (not being able to boot successfully anymore, but just cycling between powering up, showing the BMW logo and resetting) and eventually they go completely dead. However, not all iDrive unit go through these steps. Some progress quickly to the completely dead state.

In any case, regardless of the state (and regardless of what the BMW dealer says when trying to sell you another expensive iDrive), all iDrives can be repaired and it’s the most cost effective solution. You can check out our CCC repair service: https://mca.electricmura.ro/en/repairs/ccc-idrive-repair. All repairs come with 1 year warranty, of course.

If you need more help with the troubleshooting process, it’s bets to open a customer support ticket with us, by filling in the contact form here: https://mca.electricmura.ro/en/contact-2/. Our support team is here to help.

Hi, my ccc was working perfectly no problem till I decide to replace with new android head unit. Everything went smooth, the Android unit works and I was able to access old ccc. However, next day when starting the car I get excessive battery drain message. So I decided to return it and buy a different android unit, after installing it, everything works except when accessing old ccc, I get blank screen. So I removed heat unit and installed the original ccc, when starting radio nothing comes on screen and its blank. I scanned the car and got code00A468 (cable break external/error in video signal /no lvds signal ). I checked all cables and everything is secured and connected. Hopefully ccc radio is not fried?. Any help please!

          Hi Geo,

We had other customers who encountered the same problem as you when adding android head units to their cars infotainment setup. In your case, the android head unit burned the video card from your CCC unit. At the moment you have sound in the car, even though the screen is black?

We can help you with repairs for your head unit, just use the contact form on the CCC repairs page from our website and i will reply to you via email.

My ccc of bmw e60 20006 have these symptoms
The CCC iDrive resets a few times, but then starts and works properly
The navigation turns on, you see the BMW logo on screen, and then goes black again. After this happens for a couple of times, finally the CCC succeeds in starting properly, gets past the BMW logo, into the menu and everything works fine.

    What couse that?

      Hello Ardit,

It looks like another module installed on the MOST ring is causing a problem for you, or the MOST ring itself has a problem, maybe it’s interrupted somewhere.

Please go to our CCC repair page, fill your info and i will reply to you via email and i will help you troubleshoot your problem.

My display on my 2013 328i says “NO SIGNAL” most of the time. Sometimes when I start my car, the BMW logo will come on but immediately goes to No Signal or the back up camera will come on but then goes to No Signal. I have tried radio power and mode button holding for 25-30 seconds along with hard reset. My radio still works and my Bluetooth for my phone works but I can’t get navigation etc. Any advice or direction is so appreciated. Desperate here, don’t have an extra kidney to sell to get it fixed.

    Hello,
My CCC keeps restarting out of nowhere. Issue started after the car was a bit shook by a big pothole, could this damage anything inside the CCC? Does it have a hdd or other parts like this? I did a reflow for the CCC chips, but the problem still persists. I replaced most of the fuses. The parking sensors sounds worked for a bit when I tried to go in reverse and also the no seatbelt sound briefly, but the screen keps restarting. The bmw logo still shows up. Tried reseting with the button combination but did not work. Do you know where should I look next to fix this. Thank you in advance and all the best.
